A Good Day to Ascend Episode 17 English Subtitles

In an age consumed by chaos, where demons and monsters roam unchecked and corrupt officials exploit the innocent, the boundaries between the mortal world and the Netherworld begin to collapse. As Netherworld invaders and their ruthless divine enforcers spread fear across the land, ordinary people are left with no one to protect them.

Xu Ying, a humble snake-catcher, refuses to accept this fate. After witnessing the suffering of the common folk, he defies the heavens by slaying a tyrannical god and eliminating a corrupt government official. Branded a criminal by both the mortal empire and the Netherworld, Xu Ying is forced to flee as relentless pursuers close in from every direction.

What begins as a desperate escape soon becomes an extraordinary journey of survival, self-discovery, and rebellion. As hidden truths about the gods, the Netherworld, and his own destiny come to light, Xu Ying must challenge the forces that rule both realms and fight for a future where justice can prevail.
